A&P/IA Mechanic

​

Perform authorized maintenance, preventive maintenance, rebuilding, and alterations and returns to service flight school aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations, manufacturers’ requirements and the highest quality industry standards. Other duties may be assigned as required. 

​

An A&P/IA License is required in order to be considered for this positions.

 

  • Accomplish Scheduled and Unscheduled maintenance on all flight school and customer aircraft 

  • Perform work IAW with the requirements of the FAA approved inspection program, FAA regulations pertaining to    aircraft maintenance, airworthiness directives, advisory circular, manufacturers' service bulletins and engineering orders/drawings, as required. 

  • Complete all necessary entries in appropriate maintenance forms, work orders, internal inspection forms, malfunction and defect reports, and aircraft logbooks. 

  • Properly document all parts, appliances, and materials used in maintenance of aircraft. 

  • Report defective shop equipment or equipment requiring certification to the Shift Lead. 

  • Maintain a positive, professional image to our Students, Instructor Pilots, and Customers. 

  • Typical schedule is approx. 45 hours per week.

Certified Flight Instructor
​

Looking for FAA certified flight instructors willing to instruct in light sport aircraft for Sport Pilot, Private Pilot and Commercial Pilot Licenses from our facility at Galt Airport (10C).  This is a part-time job which involves pilot training, flight reviews and potential demonstration flights for aircraft sales team.
